Performance Opportunities

The Majesty Ballet Theater Company offers dancers numerous performance opportunities, including full-scale theater productions held every Spring, Fall, and Winter. Dancers will also have the opportunity to perform pieces from guest choreographers for community service projects throughout the year.

Live performances are where a dancer's hard work truly comes to life as they are an essential pillar of dance education. These productions give dancers a chance to learn intricate choreography and explore the art of acting. They are a wonderful way to stay motivated in the studio while creating lifelong bonds and gaining experience in the arts!

Auditions

Participating in MBTC Productions

When participating in a MBTC production, you are required to attend rehearsals. Company members/roles will begin rehearsing on Saturdays three months prior to the performance. Rehearsals for company roles include a company warmup class in the morning, followed by 3-4 hours of rehearsal. Generally, rehearsals run from 10:30am to 4:30pm, with breaks in between. For reference, not all roles will be required at all times.

Student roles will begin rehearsing on Saturdays two months prior to the performance. Rehearsals for student roles will generally last no longer than one hour on Saturdays to honor your family time.

The rehearsal schedule will be a Google Doc link sent out at the beginning of the production. Times are updated each week as it is determined which roles and scenes need more time together. Rehearsals are closed for viewing.

A production fee is also required. Production fees are used for a variety of purposes including rehearsals, studio overhead/expenses, costumes, props, extra rehearsals and theater needs.
