Ms. Cassy has over 20 years in experience teaching ballet. She has spent time in New York, with world renowned dancers and iconic instructors Irina Kolpakova, Vladilen Semenov, Elena Sherstneva, Ekaterina Schelkanova and Anton Boytsov among others whom all graduated from the famous Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia before continuing careers with Bolshoi, Mariinsky (Formerly Kirov) and American Ballet Theater. Ms. Cassy was also given the rare and priceless opportunity to study in great detail the breakdown of teaching the Vaganova method from one of Agrippina Vaganova’s favorite students and one of the rare few she also trained as an instructor, Ludmilla Safronova.
Ms. Cassy is passionate this knowledge continues to be passed down to future generations before it is lost and to ensure the art form can continue in all its rich and beautiful prestige.

She is an alumna of Vacaville Ballet Theatre Company as a Principal dancer, after joining in 1995 as a corps member. After moving to Newport Beach to continue studying ballet at the University of California, Irvine she returned to Vacaville as the assistant to the Director and then served as the Artistic Director and Choreographer of Vacaville Ballet Company for almost a decade. In 2022, she founded and became the Artistic Director of the new pre-professional company, Majesty Ballet Theater, in order to continue sharing the art of classical ballet in our community. Since its debut, MBTC has performed two new full length ballets, Peter Pan & Wendy, and An American Nutcracker, as well as re-staged versions of Mutiny! and Nightmare Before Nutcracker.
